As you surely already know, the MEDTRON templates for customer complaints have been revised.
Please note that all returns have to be reported to us and the decontamination declaration has to be filled in. All documents as well as further information on the MEDTRON Return Goods Specification and our Decontamination Declaration are available for download in the Online Partner Area under "Service and Training / Forms".
We are Discontinuing Production of Accutron® Thera
Service and Disposables remain available
We regret to inform you that we will cease production of Accutron® Thera, our therapeutic product solution, as of January 2024.
This was not an easy decision to make. Accutron® Thera was a successful attempt to support a new experimental procedure in palliative medicine called PIPAC with a legal product solution.
However, the transition to the new MDR regulations for medical devices requires a much greater commitment from MEDTRON. For this reason, we have decided to shift the focus of our development and sales activities back to diagnostic and medical imaging and to discontinue the Accutron® Thera product line.
Please be assured that we have made this decision with the patients who can continue to benefit from the PIPAC process in mind. Our commitment to our customers is important to us. Existing Accutron® Thera injectors will continue to be supported by our service team and the associated consumables will remain available to Accutron® Thera users.
