Market Launch of Two Additional Accutron® Vision Models in 2025

From the positive feedback we received during this year's Partner Meeting, we were able to conclude that the Accutron® CT-D Vision convinces you, dear partners, as well as the users.
This spurs us on to continue the development of the Accutron® HP-D Vision and the Accutron® MR Vision. We can now give you a concrete answer to the question of the release date.
After a development time of approximately two years, we are planning to launch the Accutron® HP-D Vision in the first quarter of 2025
It is expected that in the 4th quarter of 2025, the Accutron® MR Vision is available.
At first glance, this may sound a long way off. One reason for the duration is the long approval phase for injector systems. The high demands that our development department is currently facing as a result of the changeover to the new MDR (Medical Device Regulation) are also contributing to the delay.
However, we are very confident that we will be able to meet these release dates.
New partner strengthens our multi-supplier strategy
Maiwei (Europe) AG
As a participant in the Partner Meeting, you have already been able to get to know our new production partner, the Chinese Maiwei (Europe) AG. For those of you who did not attend the meeting in Rome, we would like to introduce the new supplier in more detail.
Maiwei (Europe) AG serves the EMEA market (Europe, Middle East and Africa) with consumables for most brands and types of contrast injectors. The company, which manufactures in China, has its management headquarters in Switzerland and is very familiar with the processes and mentality of the Western business world. The location in Salenstein on Lake Constance enables short distances and good accessability, as it is in the time zone of the EMEA market.
Quality first: "Where MEDTRON is on it, MEDTRON is in it"
Since January 2022, MEDTRON and Maiwei (Europa) AG have had a close, multi-year supply contract with clearly defined agreements. The high-quality consumables are manufactured exclusively for MEDTRON and the products are also sold under our brand. We consistently pursue our high-quality standards. We also apply this standard to the cooperation with our suppliers.
Our strategies against possible long-term problems
As part of our multi-supplier strategy to ensure seamless delivery reliability over the shortest possible distances, the majority of consumables are manufactured at our site in Hermeskeil, about 50 minutes by car from our main site in Saarbrücken. We obtain the raw materials from several sources, mainly from Germany. In addition, our development and supply change management teams are always able to solve even long-term problems such as supply bottlenecks (e.g. due to lack of availability), material discontinuations or changed approval criteria.
Thus, positioned and with Maiwei (Europe) AG on board, MEDTRON is and remains - even in times of crisis – reliable and capable of acting.
As a MEDTRON distributor, you can also benefit from the cooperation with Maiwei by including consumables for injectors from other manufacturers in your portfolio if they are of interest to your market. Please do not hesitate to contact your Sales Area Managers about this option.
