Accutron® CT-D Vision sets new standards in computed tomography. Its optimized operability and the exchange of injection data (IDS) with the digital radiology infrastructure via RIS/PACS integration are a major plus. It also facilitates examination preparation and ensures safe and comfortable handling.
Accutron® CT-D Vision in its Gantry version is now approved for eight Siemens CT scanners:
- All Siemens SOMATOM go CT systems (and their types: Up, Now, All, Top, Sim and OpenPro) as well as
- Siemens X.cite and X.ceed.
The new Gantry version replaces the old Accutron® CT-D version

vWith four different models of the Accutron® CT-D Vision, we meet the requirements for your individual premises and needs. Which version fits in your site?
- Maximum mobility is the big plus of the wireless Accutron® CT-D Vision in its battery version. Its intelligent battery management system significantly reduces charging times and ensures optimum availability of the injector. Available with smooth-running bigger casters, the injector can be moved with less effort and more quietly on the floors of the examination room. In addition, overcoming small obstacles such as cables or thresholds as well as rolling into an elevator is now much easier.
- Flexible is also the Ceiling Version which allows via Ondal's VALIA S1+ suspension unsurpassed freedom of movement. It is therefore particularly suitable for emergency, intensive care or interventional CT scanners.
- El versión Gantry is, so to speak, the "extended arm" of the Siemens CT scanners. It allows Accutron® CT-D Vision to be brought close to the patient. Attached to the scanner via a stable support arm, the Gantry version ensures clear operation in the examination room. Thanks to a constant power supply, the injector is always ready for use and offers maximum uptime.
- For use in the emergency room the Power Supply Version of Accutron® CT-D Vision is suitable. Thanks to direct mains power supply, the injector is immediately and without loading times ready for operation at any time.
Day safe system
New SUre Patient Lines available in additional lenghts
You and your users have requested additional SUre patient line variants for the Day Safe System. We now present these to you in straight or spiralized form and in three further lengths.
Advantages of longer patient lines
Lines of up to 250 cm are required where the injector needs to be positioned at a greater distance from the person being treated. They are also necessary for “Feet-First" patient bearings or longer scan paths such as in polytrauma.
Spiralized lines are flexible. They take up less space than straight tubing and are well suited for confined space applications.

- SUre Patient Line 200 (equivalent to SUre Patient Line 150)
- SUre Patient Line 250 (corresponds to SUre Patient Line 150)
- Spiralized (same characteristics as straight tubing):
- SUre Patient Line SP 150
- SUre Patient Line SP 200
- SUre Patient Line SP 250
As a reminder, SUre Patient Line is an exclusive tubing that is only used in conjunction with Day Safe Filling Tubing D. It has a rotating Luer Lock for convenient handling and two check valves that protect against retrograde flow between patients. The SUre Patient Line is changed per patient.
Day Safe System itselve, as the name suggests, is changed latest every 24 hours. A sustainable investment, made in Germany. The use of our Day Safe System saves a lot of time and reduces waste.

Return of products new regulated
In a letter of information we informed you about the new regulations for the return of products, which are in force since 1.2.2023. The main points are as follows:
- MEDTRON AG must be notified of any returned goods before they are sent in.
- Returned goods, including complaints, must always be in a condition that cannot pose a risk to our personnel.
- Incoming active medical devices and accessories from clinical use must be disinfected prior to shipment and proof of this must be provided via a decontamination declaration.
- Sterile products- except in the case of reclamation samples - are generally no longer taken back.
