On today's International Day of Charity, we would like to take the opportunity to draw attention to the valuable work of organizations that work tirelessly to support people in difficult circumstances. This year, we would like to highlight the projects that are particularly close to our hearts and that we support wholeheartedly.

Bärenherz Wiesbaden: A ray of hope for seriously ill children

We have been supporting the Bärenherz children's hospice in Wiesbaden for three years. This facility does indispensable work for seriously ill children and their families. Here, affected families not only receive medical care, but also emotional support during one of the most challenging phases of their lives. The team of specialists and volunteers offers a loving environment in which children can live in dignity and security.

The work of Bärenherz is invaluable. It enables families to spend valuable time together without having to worry about the day-to-day challenges. The support ranges from palliative care to leisure activities that bring joy and distraction to the children. On this special day, we want to hear the voices of those who benefit from this important work and pay tribute to the people who make it happen.

During this year's Röntgenkongress, our charity beer garden was once again very popular. Together with our partners Beckelmann, INFINITT Europe and Coreline Europe we were able to generate a donation of €6,000 to support the Bärenherz project.

Krebsgesellschaft Saar: Support for those affected and their relatives

We also feel closely connected to the Saar Cancer Society, which supports cancer patients and their relatives. A cancer diagnosis brings with it not only physical, but also emotional and social challenges. The Saar Cancer Society offers comprehensive support, ranging from counseling services and self-help groups to information events.

The work of this organization is crucial in helping those affected and their families through this difficult time. They create a network that promotes exchange and mutual support.
